We wish to advise that we have now established a new joint venture in CHINA with a local marine company to set up SOUTHERN STAR MARINE SUPPLIES CO LTD.

This new venture takes in new but experienced staff well known within the ship supply industry led by Mr Li Yong Hong.

Our premises are situated in Shanghai and are ideally located in the heart of the industrial districts for ease of supplies.

Our focus remains on competitive prices with the emphasis on quality and service.

We ask that in the first instance that you contact our Australian Head Office for any requirements.

With this opportunity we announce the cessation of our JV with Southern Ocean in SINGAPORE and announce our new venture with SOUTHERN STAR MARINE SUPPLIES based in Taus/Singapore. We will continue to offer the same high quality service with a much higher focus on competitive rates. We also are able to offer handling of Ship Spare and storage for our customers for scheduled deliveries onboard the vessels. Again experienced staff are at the forefront.

Important Announcement - POSIDONIA 2010
Southern Cross Marine Supplies were pleased to participate in the recent Posidonia Exhibition in Athens. Represented by Jim Costalos, Max Petersen & Con Costalos together with the subsidiary company Southern Ocean Supplies Singapore represented by Kenny Ngai.

The exhibition was opened by the Greek Minister of Economy, Competitiveness & Shipping – Mrs Louka Katseli. There were 1858 exhibitors covering 87 countries. A total of over 17,000 visitors attended the week - long event.

The 2010 event was the largest ever and a great success overall, especially under the current difficult economic circumstances and challenges facing Greece at this time. Showing a positive light on the future of the maritime industry.

Southern Cross was very pleased to see many of its customers and friends attend Stand Number 531 to share a drink and a chat. Pictures from the event are below.

To Our Valued Clients and Associates

There has been much communication and confusion recently regarding the fate of Legend Nautilus Australia.

It is our pleasure to announce that the business of Legend Nautilus Australia is now under the control of senior LNA staff (past & present) under a new entity known as Southern Cross Marine Supplies Pty. Ltd.

PFD Food Services have exited the ship supply industry, whilst negotiations are underway for a delivery agency agreement with Sealanes.

Traditional Ship Supply will re-emerge with individual Family Companies united around the coast of Australia offering the Best of the Best within the industry.

SERVICE WILL BE PARAMOUNT, QUALITY AND PRICE - THE BALANCE

All previous LNA contracts and agreements with ship owners and managers will remain in place to be honoured to the best of our ability.

We shall maintain a new Group Sales and Marketing office based in Adelaide headed by Jim Costalos. This will be the Communication Centre for ease of communication and distribution to the entire Australian network.

The previous LNA marketing telephone, faxes and email lines will be diverted to the Southern Cross GSM office to enable a continuation of > smooth transactions.

As we proceed trading the brand name of Legend Nautilus will slowly transfer to Southern Cross Marine Supplies Pty Ltd.
